A Word of Encouragement for Startup

Startup may be one of the smallest towns in the valley, but God has always done His greatest work in places the world overlooks. Every time I drive that short stretch between Sultan and Gold Bar, I am reminded that God cares deeply about the quiet places, the hidden roads, and the towns that feel tucked away in the shadows of bigger communities.
Startup is not forgotten. Not by God, and not by us.
For the families who live here, life has not always been simple. Many of you have faced battles behind closed doors. Some have carried grief that never seems to fully leave. Some have fought to keep your home standing. Some have wrestled through seasons of spiritual dryness. And some have silently wondered if God sees you at all.
Let me tell you the truth. He does.
God Works Powerfully in Quiet Places
Throughout Scripture, God often moved the strongest in the smallest places. Bethlehem. Nazareth. Capernaum. Places that didn’t make the headlines, but shaped history.
Psalm 121 says that our help comes from the Lord who made heaven and earth. That means His strength is not limited by your location. His love is not reduced because your town is smaller. His plans for you do not shrink just because fewer people live on your street.
If you live in Startup, God can meet you right where you are.
There Is Hope for Families in Startup
Some homes in this town have been through storms that others never knew about. Some marriages are fighting to hold together. Some kids are trying to make sense of a world that feels unstable. Some individuals are battling loneliness or depression in ways they have never shared.
You need to hear this. You are not alone.
Jesus sees your struggle.
Jesus hears your prayers.
Jesus knows the weight on your mind and heart.
His hope is for you too. His grace is for you too. His strength is for you too.
A Church Near You That Cares
Mountain Valley Chapel may be just a few minutes down the road, but distance has never defined our love for this valley. We pray for the people of Startup because we believe God is writing a story here just as meaningful as anywhere else in the Sky Valley.
If you ever need prayer, a fresh start, or a place to reconnect with God, our doors are open and our arms are wide.
My Prayer for Startup
Father, I pray for every home in Startup. Bring peace where there has been tension. Bring healing where there has been hurt. Bring hope where despair has tried to settle. Strengthen families. Restore relationships. Pour out Your presence in the quiet corners of this town. Let Startup experience Your love in a fresh and powerful way. In Jesus’ name, amen.
Startup, you matter more than you know.
God has not overlooked you.
Your story is held in His hands.
And He is not finished!
