At Mountain Valley Chapel in Gold Bar, Washington, we believe the church should be a living, active presence in its community. Faith isn’t meant to stay inside four walls, it's meant to be lived out in the neighborhoods, streets, and schools around us. That’s why our community meals, outreach programs, and events are at the heart of who we are. Each one is designed to meet real needs, build relationships, and show the love of Jesus in practical ways across the Sky Valley.

One of our most impactful ministries is Rescued Foods, a twice-monthly outreach that provides free meals and groceries to anyone in need. No registration, no requirements, just kindness. Families can sit down to a hot meal, enjoy conversation, and take home fresh food to fill their pantries. It’s more than feeding bodies, it's feeding hope. We believe that when people feel seen and valued, hearts begin to open to the message of Christ.

Beyond Rescued Foods, we host seasonal events and family nights that bring the community together. Whether it’s a movie night, holiday meal, or family outreach event, we aim to create spaces where people can connect, laugh, and experience genuine community. We want everyone in Gold Bar, Sultan, and Index to know there’s a church that welcomes them with open arms.

Outreach at Mountain Valley Chapel also extends into service and prayer. Our volunteers visit those who are homebound, help neighbors in need, and partner with local organizations to make a difference in the Sky Valley. We believe that loving our community means showing up consistently, meeting practical needs, and offering prayer and encouragement to those walking through hard seasons.

Every event we host and every meal we serve points to one truth Jesus loves people. Our hope is that through these simple acts of service, lives will be touched and hearts will be changed.

If you’re looking for a local church near Gold Bar where faith is active and community comes first, we invite you to be part of what God is doing at Mountain Valley Chapel. Whether you come to serve or to be served, there’s a place for you here.

“Let each of you look not only to his own interests, but also to the interests of others.” — Philippians 2:4 (ESV)
