Where Faith Meets Action

Ministry is not something reserved for pastors or a small group of volunteers. Every follower of Jesus has been given a place in His body and called to use their gifts to serve others, strengthen the church, and carry the gospel into the world.

At Mountain Valley Chapel, our ministries help people grow as disciples, build genuine relationships, serve the household of faith, and meet real needs throughout Gold Bar and the Sky Valley. Whether you are looking for connection, spiritual growth, or a place to serve, there is a next step for you here.

RESCUED FOODS
OUTREACH

Join us at Mountain Valley Chapel in Gold Bar for Rescued Foods, a free community meal and grocery outreach serving individuals and families throughout the Sky Valley.

​

On the second and fourth Sunday of each month, lunch begins at 1:00 PM, followed by grocery distribution from 1:30 to 2:00 PM. Everything is free, no preregistration is required, and you do not need to attend our church to participate. When you arrive, you will simply complete a short sign-in form.

​

Our purpose is to meet practical needs while treating every person with compassion, dignity, and the love of Jesus. We also welcome volunteers and community partners who want to help us serve more families and strengthen this outreach.

How You Can Help:

  • Volunteer to sort and distribute food

  • Donate supplies or grocery gift cards

  • Pray for the families we serve each week

MEN of the VALLEY

Men of the Valley exists to help men become faithful followers of Jesus who lead with strength, humility, integrity, and courage. We believe godly men are formed through the Word, prayer, genuine brotherhood, and the willingness to challenge one another toward spiritual maturity.

​

Our monthly gatherings create space for men to build real friendships, confront the battles holding them back, and grow as husbands, fathers, leaders, and servants in the body of Christ. Men of every age and stage of life are welcome.

Hearts

for CHRIST

Hearts for Christ exists to help women grow in their relationship with Jesus, build genuine friendships, and encourage one another through every season of life. Through fellowship, prayer, biblical encouragement, and creative gatherings, women have a place to connect, be strengthened, and grow together.

Women of every age and stage of life are welcome. Our desire is to cultivate a Christ-centered community where women are known, supported, and equipped to serve their families, the church, and the people God has placed around them.

MOUNTAIN VALLEY KIDS

Mountain Valley Kids provides a safe, welcoming place where children can learn about Jesus, understand the Bible, and grow in their faith. Through age-appropriate teaching, worship, activities, and caring leaders, children are encouraged to know God’s truth and begin living it out.

Classes are available for nursery through elementary during the Sunday service. We want every child to feel known, valued, and excited to be part of church while parents worship with confidence and peace of mind.
