WHO WE ARE
Mountain Valley Chapel is a Spirit-filled Open Bible church in Gold Bar, Washington, serving families from Sultan and communities throughout the Sky Valley. We are a church family being formed by the Word of God, empowered by the Holy Spirit, and united under the lordship of Jesus Christ.
We gather to worship, pray, grow as disciples, carry one another’s burdens, and take the hope of the gospel beyond the walls of the church. We believe every follower of Jesus belongs to His body, has a place to serve, and is called to participate in His mission.
As part of Open Bible Churches, we share a historic commitment to biblical truth, Spirit-filled ministry, discipleship, leadership development, missions, and church planting. This relationship provides spiritual covering, accountability, and partnership while we faithfully serve Gold Bar and the surrounding Sky Valley.

MEET PASTOR CHRIS BUSCHER
Pastor Chris Buscher serves as Lead Pastor of Mountain Valley Chapel. With nearly two decades of ministry experience as a pastor, missionary, evangelist, and ministry leader, his heart is to help people encounter Jesus Christ, become genuine disciples, and live empowered by the Holy Spirit.
Before coming to Gold Bar, Pastor Chris served with Teen Challenge and spent years on the mission field in Brazil, Kenya, and Pakistan. Those experiences shaped his commitment to biblical preaching, spiritual transformation, compassion for broken people, and taking the gospel beyond the walls of the church.
Together with his wife, Jessica, and their three children, Noah, Anna, and Judah, Pastor Chris is committed to serving Gold Bar and the surrounding Sky Valley. His vision is to lead Mountain Valley Chapel as a church that is alive in the Spirit, rooted in the Word, and reaching the world.

Mountain Valley Chapel exists to help people encounter Jesus, be transformed by His Word, grow into mature disciples, and take their place in the body of Christ. We are committed to Spirit-filled worship, biblical preaching, prayer, genuine community, compassionate service, and sharing the gospel locally and around the world.
