Simple, dignified help for anyone
who could use a little extra this week.

No cost. No pressure. Just neighbors helping neighbors.

WHY WE DO THIS

At Mountain Valley Chapel, we believe no one in our valley should have to worry about having food on the table. Through our Rescued Foods outreach, we’re able to share free groceries with individuals and families in Gold Bar and the Sky Valley area.


You do not have to attend our church to receive food. This is a gift to our community.

“If you pour yourself out for the hungry and satisfy the desire of the afflicted, then shall your light rise in the darkness.”- Isaiah 58:10

HOW OUR FREE
GROCERIES OUTREACH WORKS

 

We partner with local stores and suppliers to rescue quality food that might otherwise go to
waste. Then we bring it to the church, sort it, and open the doors for anyone who could use
some extra groceries.

It’s simple:

We receive food donations and rescued items.

Volunteers sort and

prepare the groceries.

You come during open hours and take what your household can use.

WHEN & WHERE TO GET FREE GROCERIES

Mountain Valley Chapel
230 Lewis Ave, Gold Bar, WA 98251

Grocery distribution is the second and fourth Sunday every month.
At 1:00 PM we serve a delicious hot meal, and at 1:30 PM we begin the FREE grocery shopping. Throughout the year, we regularly post updates at the church and on our social pages.

We Believe in Prayer

If you’re carrying something right now, you don’t need polished words or a perfect prayer. You just need to come honestly before the God who already knows, and let someone stand with you.
