We Believe in Divine Healing

At Mountain Valley Chapel in Gold Bar, Washington, we believe that God is still the healer. Divine healing is not a relic of the past or a story from another time it is part of the finished work of Jesus Christ. When He went to the cross, He carried not only our sin but also our sickness and pain. By His stripes, we are healed. Healing is a visible expression of God’s love and power, revealing that He is deeply concerned with both our spiritual and physical well-being.
Throughout Scripture, we see that Jesus never turned away those who came to Him in faith. The blind saw, the lame walked, and the broken were restored. That same compassion and power are alive today through the Holy Spirit. We believe God still heals the sick, comforts the hurting, and restores what has been lost. Whether through a miracle, a process, or the hands of medical professionals guided by His wisdom, every healing comes from Him.
At Mountain Valley Chapel, we pray with faith and expectation. We lay hands on the sick, anoint with oil, and believe God for the impossible, knowing that the outcome always rests in His perfect will. We also walk in hope when healing comes gradually or in ways we do not understand, trusting that God’s grace is sufficient and His power is made perfect in weakness.
If you are looking for a church near Gold Bar, Sultan, or Index where people pray with faith and believe in the God who still heals, we invite you to join us. We have seen His faithfulness, and we believe you can experience His healing power too.
“But he was pierced for our transgressions; he was crushed for our iniquities; upon him was the chastisement that brought us peace, and with his wounds we are healed.” — Isaiah 53:5 (ESV)
