At Mountain Valley Chapel in Gold Bar, Washington, our calling begins right here in the Sky Valley but it doesn’t stop here. We believe Jesus’ command to “go into all the world and preach the gospel” is as true today as it was two thousand years ago. That’s why Mountain Valley Chapel is more than a local church; we're a church with a global heart. From serving families in Gold Bar and Sultan to supporting missionaries overseas, we’re passionate about seeing lives changed both across the street and around the world.

Our mission's story starts with a simple truth: every believer is called to be part of the Great Commission. Some go, some send, and some pray but we all share in the same mission. Mountain Valley Chapel partners with faithful missionaries and ministries that are reaching people in nations where the gospel is still new or restricted. Through prayer, financial support, and encouragement, we stand with those who are taking the message of Jesus to the ends of the earth.

At the same time, we see missions happening every day right here in our own community. Our Rescued Foods program provides free meals and groceries to families across the Sky Valley, meeting physical needs while sharing the love of Christ. Outreach events, prayer gatherings, and acts of service all point to the same goal making Jesus known. We believe missions is not a department of the church; it’s the heart of the church.

We also make it a priority to involve our congregation personally. From short-term mission trips to serving locally, we want every believer to experience the joy of living on mission. When we give, go, and pray, we take part in something eternal. God uses ordinary people with willing hearts to accomplish extraordinary things.
